News of her death was shared in a public statement by the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
In a personal essay late last year, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer with a uncommon variant.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that targets the body's blood-forming tissues.
