The nail-biting 11-inning contest where the Los Angeles Dodgers overcome the Blue Jays by one run drew a total over 50 million watchers in the US, Canadian, and Japan territories. Major League Baseball reported this marks the most-watched World Series finale since the 1991 edition showdown between the Minnesota Twins and Atlanta Braves.

Broadcast Viewership Breakdown

The Saturday memorable contest drew 27.33 million audience members on Fox channels, Fox Deportes and their streaming platforms. Per Nielsen, it was the second most-watched program of the week.

It additionally is the most-watched Fall Classic matchup since the 2017 edition final game involving the Dodgers and Astros, which drew over 29 million. This represents a sixteen percent improvement compared to the previous Game 7 between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros, which attracted 23.19 million viewers.

In the weekly rankings, the sixth game ranked fourth, Game 4 ranked 7th, the fifth game came in 8th, and the third game finished in 13th position.
